* AFFECTED AREA: THE MOUNTAINS OF UTAH.
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: NEW SNOWFALL OF ONE TO TWO FEET IS EXPECTED BY MONDAY AFTERNOON… WITH THE HIGHER TOTALS ALONG NORTHWEST FACING SLOPES.
* TIMING: SNOW… HEAVY AT TIMES… IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE INTO THIS EVENING. SNOW SHOWERS… SOME HEAVY… WILL THEN CONTINUE OVERNIGHT INTO MONDAY BEFORE TAPERING OFF MONDAY AFTERNOON.
* WINDS: NORTHWEST WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS ARE EXPECTED OVER RIDGELINES… WHICH WILL RESULT IN LOCAL BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF NEW SNOW.
